We use modern snowcoaches operated by Tour Yellowstone, a licensed concessionaire of Yellowstone National Park.

The group will first travel by van through Yellowstone’s Gallatin District, to look for moose, bull elk and coyotes. The bull elk in the early winter can number over 200. Upon arriving in West Yellowstone, our newer snowcoaches will whisk you into the park’s vast Interior. Our expert team of guides will navigate you far away from the crowds, creating a near private experience. First you will visit the Firehole Canyon and Falls, an incredible winter scene, with high cliffs. Then you travel into the heart of Yellowstone’s Super Volcano to Old Faithful for a lunch break. On the way back, we will depart for a couple of short hikes and wildlife viewing in the warmer afternoon hours. The Fountain Paint Pots is a must see, as it will view all four different types of thermal features, including hot springs, mudpots, geysers and fumaroles. Upon arriving back to West Yellowstone, you will be able to travel back to Big Sky without waiting. Each group has its own private transportation, creating seamless travel between Big Sky and West Yellowstone. Because we often return in the daylight, we are often able to see bighorn sheep and moose on the return trip before the other companies return in the dark. Our return time of 5:30 pm in Big Sky means you will not have a chance of missing dinner, as the other companies get back between 6:15 and 7:30, Up to 2 hours after sunset.

Tour Highlights:
Old Faithful, Black Sand Basin, the Fountain Paint Pots, and the following locations which are closed to snowmobile traffic: Firehole Falls, Firehole Canyon, Ojo Calente Spring, the Freight Road and Riverside Drive.
