Snake River Adventure at Heart Lake
09/20 through 09/25: 5 days, 4 nights
We begin with a trek to Heart Lake and the Heart Lake Geyser Basin. The first day is about 8 miles, but with great views and interesting thermal features for ½ the way. We will spend two nights at Heart Lake, spending 1 day hiking to MT Sheridan or another location. Our trek out will join the Snake River for a hot spring soak on the last night. This trip offers great scenery, big mountains, 2 thermal areas in a very popular section of the park. This is why we choose late September for this trip. Please be prepared for winter weather on this trek, we can help you prepare, just ask.
